Unique Group of Institutions proudly organized the Girl Guides Orientation Session 2026 on June 11, 2026, at the Dr. Nisar Ahmad Rana Auditorium. The event brought together students, distinguished guests, and notable personalities to highlight the importance of leadership, discipline, teamwork, and community service through the Pakistan Girl Guides movement.
The session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hareem Liaqat (EME Campus), followed by a soulful Naat-e-Rasool (SAWW) presented by Mahnoor Fatima (Samnabad Campus). The program was skillfully hosted by Ms. Ayesha, along with students Zahira Shabee and Zainab Imran Butt (107-A).
A comprehensive introduction to the Pakistan Girl Guides Association was delivered by Ms. Tahira Sultan, Program Officer of Pakistan Girl Guides, who shared valuable insights into the significance of the organization and the opportunities it offers to young girls for personal growth and national service.
The audience also witnessed an engaging documentary and participated in an interactive question-and-answer session, making the orientation informative and inspiring for all attendees.
The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished personalities, including renowned Pakistan women’s tennis player Ms. Ushna Sohail, former MPA Ms. Faiza Malik, former Minister for Environment and MPA Ms. Zakia Shahnawaz, and Ms. JahanAra Wattoo, Vice Chairperson of Punjab Social Protection. Their insightful addresses encouraged students to develop confidence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Abdul Manan Khurram, Chairman of Unique Group of Institutions, emphasized the importance of character building, discipline, and empowering young women to become responsible and impactful members of society.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenirs, a group photograph, and refreshments, leaving participants with memorable experiences and renewed enthusiasm to contribute positively to their communities.
