Labour Day Walk & Seminar 2026 – Honoring the Spirit of Workers

The Unique Group of Institutions organized the Labour Day Walk & Seminar 2026 on April 29, 2026. The event began with a walk from Unique Campus 109-A to 106-A, symbolizing unity, dignity, and respect for the working community. The seminar was later held at the Dr. Nisar Ahmad Rana Auditorium, focusing on the importance of labour rights and social responsibility.

The program at the auditorium began with the seating of guests, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool (SAAW). The National Anthem set a respectful tone, and a documentary highlighted the significance of Labour Day and the value of hard work.

The event included a Labour Get-Up presentation by students, reflecting appreciation for workers. Mr. Ammar Ali Jan, Founder of Haqooq-e-Khalq Party, shared meaningful insights on labour rights and collective responsibility followed by Syed Alamdar Hussain Bokhari, President All Pakistan State Bank Employees Federation, and Ms. Riffat Maqsood, President Women’s Worker Organization, who shared their perspectives on labour rights. Mr. Farooq Tariq, senior labour leader, and Ms. Helen, Dean Intermediate Kinnaird College, also contributed valuable insights.

Prof. Abdul Mannan Khurram, Chairman UGI, concluded the session with inspiring remarks, encouraging students to value hard work and contribute positively to society.

The event concluded with the distribution of souvenirs, followed by a group photograph and refreshments, marking a meaningful and impactful occasion.
